A Trio of Mid-20th Century Glazed Ceramic Animal Figures including a Yorkshire Terrier TV Lamp and Two Owl Figurines
Description
A trio of mid-20th-century glazed ceramic animal-themed items. The collection includes a ceramic lamp base modelled as a seated Yorkshire Terrier dog, finished in a high-gloss naturalistic glaze in shades of tan, brown, and charcoal grey. This piece is designed as a TV lamp and is fitted with a vintage electrical cord and plug. The second item is a figurine depicting a pair of owls on a single base, decorated with mottled grey, brown, and black glazes to simulate plumage. It bears a small white paper sticker on the head of the taller owl printed with the number 6182. The third item is a figurine of a single owl perched upon a base modelled as a stack of books, glazed in tones of brown and cream with large circular eyes.
