Framed and Multi-Signed Promotional Poster for The Norman Conquests, Stephen Joseph Theatre
Description
A framed promotional poster for the trilogy of plays The Norman Conquests by Alan Ayckbourn, comprising Table Manners, Living Together, and Round and Round the Garden. The poster was produced for the production at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round, Scarborough. The graphic artwork is divided into three vertical panels, each depicting a red apple in progressive stages of being eaten. The poster is hand-signed in ink by several cast members, with identifiable signatures including Jane Asher, Christopher Godwin, and David Burke. Further inscriptions and signatures are present, including one that appears to read Best wishes, Alan. Printed text at the base provides theatre contact information and credits the poster design to Pure Design (Hull). The item is housed behind glass in a gold-toned rectangular frame.
