A Collection of Atlas Editions Die-Cast RAF Model Aircraft Metal
Description
A collection of die-cast metal and plastic model aircraft by Atlas Editions, depicting historic Royal Air Force planes from the First and Second World Wars. The collection features a 1917 Sopwith Camel F1 biplane and a 1941 Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb, both in 1:72 scale. The heavy bomber contingent includes a Handley Page Halifax, an Avro Lancaster B.III Special Dambuster variant, and an Avro Lancaster B.I Admiral Prune with fuselage markings ZN-Y. A Hawker Hurricane fighter is also included in the lot. Five of the models are presented on their original black plastic display bases which feature printed inscriptions for the aircraft name, country of origin, and scale. The models are decorated in authentic camouflage patterns and RAF roundels.
