Description

This collection comprises an assortment of hand-painted historical military miniature figures, each mounted on an individual display base. The figures are crafted from painted metal and represent various periods of British military history. Included is an English Grenadier at Culloden 1746, depicted in a red coat with blue facings and a mitre cap, holding a musket and mounted on a tall dark wood-effect base with an identifying plaque. A Napoleonic era rifleman in a dark green uniform and shako is shown in a firing pose on a scenic base with a red border marked Rifleman. The group features a vignette of a British infantryman in a red coat and bearskin cap standing beside a smaller figure in medieval plate armour, as well as a separate circular base holding a medieval knight and a standard bearer. Another figure portrays a British infantryman in a red coat and shako holding a flagpole. A paired display features a trooper from the 1st Dragoons dated 1815 in a red coat and brass helmet alongside a flag bearer in a grey overcoat holding a large Union Jack flag marked with the numerals XXII and a crown, mounted on a polished wood-effect base with a brass-coloured identifying plaque.
