A Collection of King & Country Napoleonic War Military Miniatures
Description
A collection of professionally hand-painted military miniatures by King & Country, depicting infantry from the Napoleonic Wars. The lot comprises figures representing both French Imperial and British line regiments. The French figures are dressed in Infanterie de Ligne campaign uniforms, featuring blue coats with white lapels, red cuffs, and shakos. Two French figures carry regimental standards topped with the Imperial eagle; one blue flag bears the inscription L’EMPEREUR NAPOLEON AU REGIMENT D’INFANTERIE DE LIGNE around a central crowned N cipher. The British figures are shown in characteristic red coats and white trousers, wearing the Belgic shako typical of the 1812 to 1815 period. Standards include the King’s Colour and a green regimental colour featuring a gold crown over an Irish harp. The figures are constructed from white metal and mounted on individual scenic bases with textured flocking and vegetation. A white inventory tag marked 9703 is present on the base of one figure.
