A Collection of Hand-Painted Military Miniature Figures and Busts
Description
A collection of hand-painted military miniature figures and busts depicting various historical warriors. The assembly includes a full-standing knight in black plate armour wearing a yellow and red heraldic surcoat and a crowned helm with a crest, mounted on an integral scenic base. Also featured is a detailed full figure of a samurai in traditional lamellar armour, depicted in a dynamic pose with a katana and arrows protruding from the back area. The collection also includes portrait busts mounted on turned wooden circular plinths, depicting a medieval knight in armour with a surcoat bearing a red cross on a white ground, a soldier in ornate armour with a classical-style helmet featuring golden cresting, and a figure in the Roman style wearing a red cloak and a helmet with a white plume. These miniatures appear to be cast in resin or white metal and exhibit detailed professional painting. No visible maker’s marks or signatures are present.
