Description
A collection of United Kingdom numismatic items comprising Royal Mint commemorative folders and mixed circulation coinage. The lot includes a 1987 Brilliant Uncirculated English one pound coin folder and a 1988 Brilliant Uncirculated one pound coin folder. Commemorative five pound crowns are present for the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Centenary (2000) and Queen Elizabeth II 80th Birthday (2006). The group also contains a card-mounted set of six copper-coloured medallions, including a Waterloo commemorative, and a cardboard-mounted assortment of varied UK coinage including pre-decimal florins, shillings, and decimal pence. Compositions consist primarily of cupro-nickel, nickel-brass, and copper-plated alloys. One display card is marked with the printed number 6571.
