Victorian Low Upholstered Armchair with Deep Buttoned Back and Brass Casters
Description
A Victorian style low armchair dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The chair is upholstered in a tan-coloured ribbed corduroy fabric, featuring a deep-buttoned, curved backrest and low, padded scroll arms. The deep seat is raised on turned dark-stained wooden front legs and square-section splayed rear legs. The front legs are fitted with brass casters. A small white rectangular adhesive tag is visible on the inner right arm with illegible blue characters.
