A Middle Eastern Brass Tray Table on Folding Wooden Stand, circa 1900
Description
A circular tray-top table, featuring a large circular brass tray with extensive engraved decoration. The design consists of concentric rings with geometric patterns, a central starburst motif, and panels depicting stylized animal figures amidst foliate designs. The tray rests on a dark-stained wooden folding base. The four-legged base is constructed with turned uprights and spindled cross-members, designed for portability. A white rectangular sticker with the number “117” is present on one leg.
