Description
A Paul Cardew for Ringtons Millennium Welsh Dresser novelty teapot, crafted from glazed ceramic. The teapot is shaped like a brown dresser or china cabinet, featuring a spout on the left and a handle on the right. It is intricately adorned with miniature blue and white plates, cups, books, and tea caddies. Visible text on a miniature newspaper includes “RINGTONS TEAS” and “Ringtons Begin Deliveries,” while a green tea caddy is marked “TEA CADDY.” A black and white cat figure rests on the top shelf. Accompanying the teapot is a rectangular, cream-colored ceramic storage box with a lid topped with a small teapot finial.
