Description
A Portuguese modernist abstract porcelain sculptural figure group depicting two stylised figures. The elongated, sweeping form features a deep cobalt blue high-gloss glaze with a reflective finish, accented by a wide band of gold-toned gilding around the upper cowl section. The minimalist faces are rendered in unglazed matte white bisque porcelain. The sculpture is mounted onto a square clear acrylic base. The base of the porcelain bears a rectangular gold and black adhesive label printed with the words PORCELANAS galos and vertically oriented text reading made in portugal.
