A Singer Electric Sewing Machine Manufactured in Great Britain with Carrying Case
Description
A vintage electric sewing machine by The Singer Manufacturing Co., featuring a black enamelled metal head decorated with gold-toned filigree decals. The machine is mounted upon a light-toned wooden base and is equipped with a side-mounted electric motor and a foot pedal connected by a black power cord with a UK three-pin plug. Gold-printed lettering along the top of the arm reads The Singer Manufacturing Co. and Manufactured in Great Britain. The name SINGER is printed in large gold capital letters on the front of the arm. A circular brass-toned badge featuring the company logo is affixed to the vertical pillar. A white rectangular adhesive label reading 12870 is attached to the arm. The unit is accompanied by a brown vinyl-covered carrying case with a plastic handle.
