A Pair of 20th Century Oak Memorial Crosses
Description
A pair of wooden memorial or commemorative crosses, constructed from oak with a polished finish. Each cross comprises a vertical post and a horizontal arm set into a square, stepped wooden base. One cross features an extensive list of names inscribed in black ink across the length of the horizontal arm. Names visible include Nellie Abbott, Mrs Clay, Mr James, Mrs Barnes, Mr Marriott, Mr Wildgust, Mr Parkin, Mr Sanbrook, Mr Gent, Mr Garner, Mr Jackson, Mr Penny, Mr Armson, Doris, Ted Smith, Eric James, Winnie Simpson, Miss Young, Mr Smith, Mrs Smith, Mrs Jacklin, Vincent Jacklin, Mrs Huckall, William Dove, Mrs Johnson, Alan Robinson, Edna Johnson, Mr Harrison, Gareth Griffiths, Mrs Andrews, Mr Johnson, Miss Norton, Mrs Cherry, and Mr S.
