Mid-Century Modern Teak Drop-Leaf Gateleg Dining Table
Description
A mid-century modern teak and teak veneer drop-leaf gateleg dining table, produced in the style of G-Plan during the 1960s or 1970s. This space-saving butterfly design features two D-shaped drop leaves that extend to create a large circular dining surface when fully opened. The leaves are supported by swing-out gateleg frames. The table is constructed with a central pedestal base that includes a signature cut-out handle, designed to store up to four folding chairs (chairs are not present with this lot). The teak displays a warm colour and a consistent grain pattern across the tabletop. A small rectangular inventory sticker is visible on the edge of the table.
