An Art Deco Style Oak Four-Drawer Chest of Drawers, Circa 1930s-1950s
Description
A mid-20th-century chest of drawers constructed from oak and oak veneers with a medium-brown stain finish. The rectangular carcass features a low gallery splashback to the rear of the top surface. The chest contains four full-width drawers. Each drawer is fitted with two silver-toned drop handles, likely nickel or chrome-plated, set against fan-shaped backplates typical of Art Deco decorative motifs. The chest is raised on four square-section tapered legs, each terminating in original brass-mounted casters. A small white rectangular inventory label is affixed to the upper left side of the piece.
