FIVE Wooden Model Sailing Ships Including the HMS Bounty and Santa Maria
Description
Five wooden model sailing ships of varying scales. The collection includes a model of the HMS Bounty, mounted on a wooden base with a nameplate reading H.M.S BOUNTY. This model features three masts with cream-coloured fabric sails and thread rigging, with one sail displaying a printed Union Jack. A second model is identified by a nameplate on its wooden base as the SANTA MARIA, featuring fabric sails decorated with red and green cross motifs and a handwritten sticker numbered 9776 on the base. The third and largest model has a hull painted in black and white with numerous white fabric sails and complex rigging. All three models are constructed from wood and fabric with detailed thread rigging and are presented on individual wooden display stands.
