A collection of Franklin Mint porcelain collector plates and a souvenir Bermuda pewter tankard
Description
An assortment of fine porcelain collector plates produced by Franklin Mint, featuring the Rose Cottage series designed by artist Peter Barrett. Each plate is decorated with transfer-printed pastoral scenes depicting idyllic thatched cottages and floral gardens, finished with a gilt-effect rim. The lot includes a Certificate of Authenticity for the Rose Cottage plate, which identifies it as a limited edition heirloom collector plate. The plates are housed in a multi-tier wire display rack. Accompanying the plates is a souvenir tankard of tapered form with a flared, stepped base and simple loop handle, constructed from a grey-toned metal, likely pewter. The body of the tankard is engraved with the word BERMUDA above the date 7-5-59.
