A Collection of Cut Glass and Crystal Decanters and Decorative Tableware
Description
An assortment of 20th-century and later glassware comprising several decanters and decorative pieces. The group includes a heavy lead crystal square-section decanter with a silver-plated collar and deep-cut diamond and hobnail motifs. There is a clear glass bulbous decanter with etched thistle decoration and a globular stopper, in the style of Edinburgh Crystal. Also present is a tall, slender decanter with vertical fluting and a triple-ringed neck, a rectangular spirit decanter with vertical ribbing and a faceted stopper, and a contemporary tall cylindrical glass bottle with a black composite and metal stopper. The collection further includes a small cut crystal basket with an integral handle, a small hand-painted globular vase with floral sprays, and three small free-form glass dishes with an organic design.
