UK 2016 and Modern, A Collection of Commemorative Medallions, Gold-Plated
Description
A collection of commemorative medallion and coin sets from private minting institutions, resembling products from the Bradford Exchange. The lot includes a red presentation folder marking the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II in 2016, containing medallions finished with 24 carat gold plating. A purple presentation folder contains gold-plated medallions commemorating Diana, Princess of Wales, featuring various portrait designs. A large blue folder titled Michael Gabriel Raphael houses oversized 24 carat gold-plated medallions depicting the archangels, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity numbered 03299. Also included is a carded set titled BRITISH MONARCHS featuring copper-finish medallions representing sovereigns from Queen Victoria through to Queen Elizabeth II. The medallions are struck from base metal and are individually protected by plastic capsules within the folders.
