An Assortment of English Bone China Tea and Coffee Service Pieces with Blue Daisy Decoration
Description
This is an assortment of English bone china pieces from a tea and coffee service, decorated in a blue and white daisy pattern. The design features transfer-printed flower heads with yellow centres, arranged in borders and sprays against a white ground. Each piece is finished with gilded rims and gold accents on the handles and finials. The collection includes several serving and tableware items: two large square serving plates with scalloped edges, a large lidded teapot, a smaller lidded pot (likely a coffee or hot water pot), a cream jug, and an open sugar or slop bowl. Also present are multiple pedestal-style egg cups, circular side plates, saucers, and teacups. While printed maker’s marks are visible on the undersides of some pieces, they are not clearly legible for a definitive factory attribution. A paper lot sticker numbered 9754 is applied to the cream jug.
