A Collection of Six Royal Doulton Bunnykins and Beswick Ceramic Figurines
Description
This collection of six polychrome glazed ceramic figurines includes five examples from the Royal Doulton Bunnykins series and one John Beswick figure.
The Royal Doulton figures consist of:
– Bedtime Bunnykins (1988), featuring two rabbits tucked into a bed with a multicoloured patchwork quilt.
– Bedtime Bunnykins (1982), depicting a kneeling rabbit in striped pyjamas.
– Bathtime Bunnykins (1988), showing a rabbit in a white robe holding a small yellow duck.
– Storytime Bunnykins (1988), depicting two rabbits seated together reading an open book.
– New Baby Bunnykins (1996), model DB 158, featuring a rabbit at a small desk or cradle.
Each Royal Doulton piece bears the standard circular backstamp with the Bunnykins and Royal Doulton names, copyright dates, and model titles. Some pieces include small hand-painted numbers such as 9, 55, 62, and 90.
The sixth item is a John Beswick figure titled The Fox, depicting an anthropomorphic fox in a red hunting coat, white breeches, and a black top hat. The base includes the Beswick England circular mark, the John Beswick script signature, and the model title.
A yellow ruler is visible in the background of the images, but its distance from the objects precludes exact measurements.
