A Royal Doulton glazed bone china figurine entitled The Old Balloon Seller, model number HN1315. The figure depicts an elderly woman seated, holding a large bunch of multicoloured balloons in her right hand. A woven basket filled with various flowers sits at her side. She is dressed in a dark floral-patterned bonnet with yellow and red accents, a green shawl draped over a maroon bodice, and a white apron over a teal green skirt. The underside of the base features the printed Royal Doulton factory mark with a lion and crown, the title of the piece, and the hand-painted model number HN1315 along with a painted letter V and other small marks.
