A Victorian-style pedestal oil lamp with cranberry-tinted ruffled glass shade
Description
A Victorian-style pedestal oil lamp featuring a cast metal base with decorative relief motifs supporting a fluted column-style stem with a dark patinated finish. The lamp is equipped with a transparent amber-tinted glass reservoir and a metal burner assembly. It includes a frosted glass shade with a ruffled top edge, detailed with a cranberry-coloured rim and etched floral patterns. A tall, clear cylindrical glass chimney is present. A small white adhesive label with the handwritten number 501 is attached to the glass font. No manufacturer marks are visible on the metal or glass components. This is an original paraffin lamp and is currently in an unwired state.
