Cooper Brothers and Sons Silver-Plated Square Tray
Description
An English silver-plated square tray or salver, manufactured by Cooper Brothers and Sons Ltd of Sheffield. The tray features a square form with a shaped, scalloped border and a raised gadrooned edge. The underside of the tray bears several stamped marks including an oval mark containing the letters EPNS, a pictorial trademark depicting a figure seated upon a barrel, three separate stamps containing a Gothic-style C followed by Bros and an S, the pattern number 6965, and the words MADE IN ENGLAND.
