Description
An architectural watercolour painting on paper signed L. Fennell in the lower right corner. The composition depicts a row of historic gabled buildings, possibly shop fronts, with prominent timber framing and multiple chimneys. The work is rendered in a representational topographical style with a soft colour palette and includes a tree to the left side of the scene. The artwork is presented in a green-washed mat and a stepped gilt-effect wooden frame under glass. A yellow measuring tape is visible at the top edge for scale, and a white auction lot sticker numbered 9754 is affixed to the glazing.
