An Art Deco Style Frameless Octagonal Wall Mirror
Description
An Art Deco style frameless wall mirror of octagonal form, dating from the mid-20th century. The mirror is constructed with a central bevelled-edge glass plate surrounded by a border of individual faceted mirror segments. These segments are secured to the backing with chrome-plated metal clips. This style of mirror was a popular feature of British interiors during the 1930s and 1940s. A lot sticker numbered 501 is present on the front glass surface. No maker’s marks are visible.
