Description
This assortment of ceramic tableware is primarily composed of blue and white transferware, including pieces in the style of Burgess and Leigh (Burleigh). The transfer-printed items feature various traditional motifs such as dense floral patterns, landscape scenes, and town views. The group includes items such as teapots, jugs, and mugs. Also included is a large earthenware teapot with a cream-coloured ground and a repeating dark brown lattice or bubble pattern, accented with metallic lustre on the spout, handle, and finial. The collection is completed by a small circular bowl with a central starfish motif in green and yellow. No maker marks are visible on the bodies of the items; one lid bears a small handwritten price sticker.
