Description
An assortment of UK postage stamps primarily dating from the late 1980s and early 1990s. The collection comprises various commemorative and high-value definitive issues, each individually mounted on cream-coloured cardstock and protected within clear plastic sleeves. Identifiable stamps in the group include a £1 Carrickfergus Castle high-value definitive (SG 1413), an 18p stamp from the 1992 Christmas series, and a denomination from the 1992 J.R.R. Tolkien centenary issue. The assortment also contains nature-themed stamps such as the Garden Elm from the 1991 Trees series. All specimens feature the Machin head silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II and are produced using photogravure or lithographic printing methods.
