Description
This collection of mid-20th-century evening accessories comprises a handbag, a pair of gloves, and metal vanity cases. The evening bag is constructed from a black suede-effect material in a structured form, embellished with stylized black patent leather or vinyl overlays in curved and almond-shaped designs. Included is a pair of coordinating black fabric evening gloves featuring openwork eyelet stitching and gathered at the wrists with gold-tone metal ring details. The collection further includes a rectangular silver-tone metal vanity or cigarette case, decorated with a central circular motif and horizontal bar, both grain-set with clear paste stones. Also present is a pair of small rectangular cases, potentially for lipstick or matches, featuring black panels, likely enamel or celluloid, set within silver-tone metal frames. These two cases are joined by a decorative, openwork silver-tone bridge set with small clear stones.
