British Fire Service Station Officer Service Dress Tunic
Description
A British Fire Service service dress tunic, constructed from dark navy blue wool or serge fabric. The garment features a four-button front and four pleated patch pockets, each secured with a scalloped flap and gilt brass buttons. The shoulder straps and sleeve cuffs are finished with red piping. The lower right sleeve is embellished with three horizontal gold lace rank bars, signifying the rank of Station Officer. Two silvered eight-pointed star collar badges are present. Above the left breast pocket is a single medal ribbon bar, displaying blue, green, and yellow stripes. A silver-tone chain is attached to the second button, and the tunic is accompanied by its original matching cloth waist belt with a metal buckle.
