A Collection of Six Alfretto Porcelain Napoleonic Military Figurines
Description
A collection of six glazed porcelain figurines from the Alfretto Porcelain Collectors Series, depicting various British military officers from the Napoleonic period. Each figure is modelled in a full-length pose wearing a period-appropriate uniform and stands upon a rectangular pedestal base. The front of each base is titled in black serif script identifying the regiment and date. The subjects comprise an Officer Light Dragoons 1815, an Officer Dragoon Guards 1813, an Officer British Line Infantry 1815, an Officer Grenadier Company 1819, an Officer Rifles 1815, and an Officer Horse Grenadier 1815. The bases feature gilded upper and lower rims. The underside of each base is marked with an underglaze blue stamp featuring a crown over the letters AC within a scrolled cartouche, labelled Alfretto Porcelain Collectors Series Foreign.
