Large Painted Sheet Metal Novelty British Policeman Garden Ornament
Description
A large novelty painted metal figure of a British policeman, commonly known as a Bobby or PC Plod. The figure is constructed from sheet metal with a glossy painted finish and stylized features. He is depicted wearing a traditional police helmet with a gold-toned cord chin strap, a black uniform jacket with two white buttons, a black necktie, and a belt with a silver-coloured buckle. The figure is shown with oversized rounded black feet and is holding a black truncheon in his right hand. A white rectangular adhesive label on the chest is marked 9731p, and a partial cardboard swing tag is attached to the base of the jacket, which reads PC PLOD.
