Description
A table lamp comprising a glazed ceramic base and a large fabric shade. The base is of ginger jar form, decorated with polychrome floral motifs, scrolling foliage, and a central stylised rosette in a Chinoiserie style. The flared, scalloped fabric shade is of a cream colour and finished with a deep matching fringe to the lower edge. The lamp is fitted with a gold-coloured electrical cord and a modern UK 3-pin plug. An adhesive label is present on the ceramic base, printed with the digits 9731 and 1/B. No other maker’s marks or stamps are visible.
