An Old Charm style oak two-part Welsh dresser
Description
A 20th-century reproduction oak dresser in the Old Charm style, attributed to Wood Bros. This two-part piece is constructed from oak with a dark-stained finish. The upper hutch section features a central double-door cupboard fitted with leaded glass panels in a diamond pattern, flanked by open shelving sections with turned support pillars. The top is finished with a decorative scalloped and carved frieze. The lower sideboard base contains three drawers above three cupboard doors, each decorated with relief-carved panelling. The unit is fitted with ornate metal ring-pull handles on circular backplates and prominent decorative H-hinges.
