British School, 19th Century 'Still Life with Grapes and Peaches'
Description
A 19th-century watercolour on paper depicting a traditional still life arrangement of fruit. The composition features central clusters of green and purple grapes, accompanied by peaches and small red berries, set against a muted and naturalistic background. The artwork is mounted behind glass with a dark green border and is housed in a substantial double-profile frame. The inner frame features an ornate gilt-finish with foliate scrollwork, while the wide outer frame is constructed from stained wood showing a visible grain. Two small adhesive labels are present on the glass, bearing the character M and the number 7627.
