A Pair of Framed Screenprints by Amleto Dalla Costa
Description
A pair of contemporary screenprints by the Italian artist Amleto Dalla Costa (born 1929), featuring stylized female figures in a graphic, Art Deco-influenced fashion illustration style. One print depicts a woman in black lingerie with suspender straps, holding a blue and white striped garment against a green geometric background. The second print portrays a figure in a black corset and teal trousers with an ochre wrap set against a dark background with a teal oval. Each print is signed by the artist in the lower right corner of the image area. The works are housed in matching gold-toned metal frames with cream-coloured mounts under glass.
