A British military long service medal, the Efficiency Medal with Territorial suspension bar. The oval silver medal features the crowned effigy of King George VI on the obverse, surrounded by the legend GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP. The reverse is plain with the central inscription FOR EFFICIENT SERVICE. It is suspended from a scroll-style bar inscribed TERRITORIAL. The ribbon is green with yellow borders. The rim is officially impressed with the recipient’s details: 4613127 GNR R. RAITH R.A.
