A Collection of Hand-Painted Cast Metal Napoleonic Military Miniature Figures Attributed to Charles C. Stadden
Description
This collection features hand-painted cast metal military miniatures depicting personnel and scenarios from the Napoleonic Wars, attributed to Charles C. Stadden. The pieces are mounted on turned circular wooden plinths or square wooden bases with textured groundwork. The assortment includes a vignette of a soldier from the 95th Rifles in a green uniform offering a canteen to a wounded British infantryman. Other figures depicted include a standing British infantryman in a red coat and shako, an advancing British infantryman, a fallen wounded soldier, and a soldier in a black uniform with a red sash, consistent with the Brunswick Oels Jagers. Each figure displays detailed hand-painting. No marks are visible on the exterior surfaces of the figures or bases.
