Description
A collection of hand-painted cast metal toy soldiers depicting infantrymen of a British Highland Regiment in full dress. The figures are captured in marching poses, carrying rifles at the slope with fixed bayonets. Each figure is dressed in a traditional uniform comprising a red doublet, tartan kilt with sporran, diced hose, and a feather bonnet with red and white dicing. The figures are mounted on individual, irregularly shaped bases painted green. One figure retains a white adhesive tag with the handwritten inventory number 9703. There are no visible manufacturer marks or stamps on the figures.
