Air Force 1 1/72 Scale B-17G Flying Fortress Nine-O-Nine Diecast Model Metal
Description
A 1/72 scale die-cast metal and plastic display model of a Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress, manufactured by Air Force 1. The aircraft is finished in an olive drab livery representing the Nine-O-Nine of the 323rd Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group. Markings include a white triangle on the vertical stabiliser containing a black letter L, a yellow serial number 255721, and red and white horizontal stripes on the rear fuselage. The wings and fuselage feature United States Army Air Forces star and bar roundels. The model is equipped with four three-blade propellers and clear plastic glazing for the cockpit and various turret positions. It is mounted on a black plastic cradle-style display stand. A small white label with the handwritten characters 9703 is affixed to the base.
