A Collection of Hand-Painted Metal Military Miniature Figurines Depicting Colonial Desert Warfare
Description
This collection of hand-painted military miniature figurines depicts personnel and accessories from late 19th-century desert campaigns. The figures are constructed from cast metal. The set features two figures mounted on camels, including one carrying a red banner with white Arabic-style script and another armed with a spear and shield. There are four foot soldiers dressed in blue tunics, brown trousers, and red fezzes, each carrying a rifle. Two additional foot soldiers are depicted in traditional white robes, one of whom is in an active pose with a sword and shield. The group is accompanied by a palm tree accessory on a textured base. Each piece is finished with hand-applied paint to represent various military and cultural attires of the period.
