Thirteen Good Soldiers Hand-Painted Dad’s Army Character Figures and a Delivery Van
Description
A collection of thirteen hand-painted cast metal figures by Good Soldiers, depicting characters from the classic British sitcom Dad’s Army, accompanied by a die-cast metal delivery van. The figures represent the core Home Guard platoon and supporting cast, including Captain Mainwaring, Sergeant Wilson, Lance Corporal Jones, Private Pike, Private Frazer, Private Walker, and Private Godfrey, the latter carrying a medical bag. The supporting characters include the Vicar (The Reverend Timothy Farthing), the Verger (Mr. Yeatman), and ARP Warden Hodges. The set also includes a soldier in a red dress tunic, a sailor in a naval uniform, and an additional soldier in khaki uniform. Each figure is manufactured from cast white metal with an integral green-painted base and finished with hand-applied paint. The accompanying blue die-cast metal delivery van is a Lledo Days Gone model featuring Ionides promotional livery with white and yellow lettering.
