Description
This mahogany dining suite consists of a twin pedestal table and a matching set of chairs. The table features an oval top with a reeded edge and includes one additional central leaf. The top is supported by twin tripod pedestal bases, each with three splayed and reeded legs terminating in brass socket casters. The set of six chairs is in the Hepplewhite style, comprising four side chairs and two carvers with arms. Each chair features a shield-shaped back with a carved openwork splat. The padded seats are upholstered in a light blue velvet fabric and are supported by square tapering legs joined by an H-stretcher for stability. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the pieces.
