A Pair of Weathered Composition Stone Garden Figures of Putti on Dolphins
Description
A pair of weathered garden figures cast in composition stone. Each ornament depicts a young boy or putto seated astride a large, stylized dolphin. The figures are set upon integral circular bases decorated with a repeating Greek key meander frieze. The statues exhibit a classical aesthetic and feature a natural weathered finish with surface discolouration and lichen growth consistent with outdoor placement. One figure retains an inventory label to the torso.
