Description
This lot comprises a diverse collection of vintage and antique porcelain, ceramic, and carved stone decorative items. Included are two large white porcelain tureens with blue transferware-style floral borders and matching lids, alongside a large white serving bowl featuring a scalloped, leaf-moulded design. The set features a square porcelain bowl with blue floral motifs and gilded detailing, as well as various dark blue and white flow blue transferware plates. Additional items include plates with maroon and gold-tone borders, a small dark red glazed pitcher, and two decorative stone items consisting of a square box and a small round lidded dish, likely crafted from alabaster or onyx. Makers potentially include Grindley, Johnson Bros, and New Wharf Pottery. No dolls, clothing, or eye mechanisms are present in this lot. Height: 5cm to 25cm.
Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition with surface wear consistent with age and use. No significant cracks or large chips are immediately apparent. Some pieces may show fine crazing or minor nicks to the rims. The stone items are well-preserved with no visible repairs.
