Omega Art Deco Triangular Desk Clock with 8-Day Swiss Movement
Description
An Art Deco period triangular desk or mantel clock by Omega, featuring a distinctive pyramid-shaped silver-toned metal frame. The brushed brass-toned dial is designed with a recessed centre triangle and features applied stylised gold-toned Arabic numerals and linear hour markers. The time is indicated by blue-steel baton hands. The dial is marked 8 DAYS and Swiss Made at the lower edge, denoting the high-quality mechanical movement within. This piece exemplifies the geometric aesthetic of the early 20th century. Dimensions: Base width approximately 8 inches.
Condition report:
The mechanical 8-day movement is present but has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy. The metal case and dial exhibit signs of age, including tarnishing and light oxidation.
