Description
A large cylindrical ceramic vessel of traditional form, suitable for use as an umbrella stand or floor vase. The exterior is decorated with a blue and white Chinoiserie pattern featuring intricate floral motifs and foliate scrolls. The interior is finished with a white glaze. The piece is presented with a decorative arrangement of slender dried natural branches, some of which feature small red bead embellishments. The unglazed underside shows no discernible maker’s marks or signatures. Dimensions: Height and diameter not recorded; large scale.
