A contemporary reclining lounge chair and matching ottoman designed in the Scandinavian modern style, closely following the ergonomic principles of the late 20th century. The set is upholstered in a deep burgundy leather, featuring decorative top-stitching and an integrated headrest cushion. The primary support structure consists of a curved, four-legged swivel base crafted from solid beech wood with a mahogany-coloured stained finish. The chair features a manual reclining mechanism and a 360-degree swivel function. The ottoman is designed with a matching base and angled cushion for leg support. This set represents the functionalist aesthetic popularised by Norwegian manufacturers during the 1990s. Chair: H 100 cm x W 82 cm x D 75 cm. Ottoman: H 42 cm x W 54 cm x D 46 cm.
Condition report:
The set is presented in good structural condition. The leather upholstery shows characteristic creasing and light surface wear consistent with domestic use, particularly to the seat and armrests.
