Three Early 21st-Century Bordeaux Red Wine Bottles
Description
This lot comprises three early 21st-century Bordeaux red wine bottles, made of dark glass with paper labels and foil or plastic capsules. From left to right: a 2010 “Prestige & Calvet” Bordeaux Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon, featuring a red and gold capsule and “CALVET” embossed on the shoulder; a 2009 “Château Cru Cantemerle” Bordeaux Supérieur, with a dark red capsule, auction stickers from “Shelbys Auctioneers Ltd” (marked 149 and 8883), and labels indicating it was “Élevé en fûts de chêne” (Aged in oak barrels) and “Mis en Bouteille au Château” (Bottled at the Château); and a 2012 “La Patrie” Côtes de Bordeaux Merlot, bearing a red capsule and “Appellation d’Origine Protégée.” The identification of “La Patrie” Côtes de Bordeaux Merlot is consistent with web intelligence findings for similar vintages.
