Description
A Sylvac green glazed English pottery squirrel jug, model 1115, circa 1930. The ceramic jug features a barrel-shaped body with vertical ribbing on its upper half and stylized branch and leaf motifs. The base is decorated with textured foliage and stippling, supporting a figural handle sculpted as a squirrel perched on the base and grasping the rim. The entire piece is covered in a uniform celadon or mint green glossy glaze. The underside is impressed with the text “MADE IN ENGLAND” and the number “1115”.
